Papaya

The Papaya is rich in Vitamin C, potassium, folate, a good source of fiber, and several carotenoids including beta-carotene and beta-cryptoxanthin
Though it resembles a tree, a papaya plant is actually an overgrown herb grown in tropical climates such as Mexico and Central America.
The most common use for papaya is to aid digestion. Papayas are the only natural source of papain, an effective natural digestive aid, which breaks down protein and cleanses the digestive track helping people to lose weight.

Apples

The Apple has Pectin along with a variety of polyphenols and other antioxidants.
It's no coincidence that apples are the symbol of good health. In the middle Ages, the English said "To eat an apple before going to bed, will make the doctor beg his bread." We now know that there’s a sound basis for the familiar "apple a day" rhyme. Take a look at the nutritional benefits of a medium size apple.
Apples are absolutely fat-free and provide as much dietary fiber as a bowl of bran cereal. Apples are loaded with pectin which aids digestion and may help reduce cancer and heart disease.
Snacking on apples gives your body a longer more even energy boost and can keep you going throughout the day.

Acerola Cherry

The fruit is edible and widely consumed in the species' native area, and is cultivated elsewhere for its high vitamin C and anthocyanadins.
A company claimed that a drop of acerola juice in a can of apple juice of approx. 8 oz provided the same amount of vitamin C as in an 8 oz can of orange juice.
A test showed that acerola fruit has the best antioxidant potency among 11 other fruit pulps tested!

Cranberry

Cranberries have Flavonoid and phenolic antioxidants.
Similar to other Vaccinium berries, cranberries are scientifically recognizable as potent sources of antioxidant phytochemicals.

Tomato

The tomato not only thrills the taste buds and brightens the dinner table, it also helps fight disease.
A review of 72 different studies showed consistently that the more tomatoes and tomato products people eat, the lower their risks of many different kinds of cancer. The secret may lie in lycopene, the chemical that makes tomatoes red, said Dr. Edward Giovannucci, Harvard School of Public Health, and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Among the studies he reviewed, 57 showed that the more tomatoes one ate, the lower the risk of cancer. “The evidence for benefit was strongest for cancers of the prostate, lung, and stomach,” he reported.
The tomato is also an excellent source of vitamin C and a good source of vitamin A.

Oat Bran

Oat bran is the outer husk of oat grain. The bran of grain contains the bulk of the dietary fiber of the grain, along with a large amount of useful minerals.

Beets

The beets belong to the same family as chard and spinach.
Both beet root and beet greens are very powerful cleansers and builders of the blood. Betacyanin is the phytochemical in beets that gives it its rich 'amethyst' color that significantly reduces homocysteine levels.

Beets are loaded with vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and C. The greens have a higher content of iron compared to spinach. They are also an excellent source of calcium, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, sodium and iron.
Beets iron content is not high but the quality is the best and this makes it highly effective in treating many ailments caused by our toxic environment.
Beets have long been known for their amazing health benefits for almost every part of the body. And yet, it is something that very few people eat, much less its juice.
Start adding beets to your juicing diet to enjoy all its heavenly goodness.

Broccoli

Broccoli was developed in Italy and is well established as one of the major anti-cancer foods.
Numerous studies have concluded again that people who eat an abundance of broccoli have fewer cancers of the colon, breast, cervix, lungs, prostate, esophagus, larynx, and bladder.
Broccoli contains indoles, which can help inactivate harmful estrogens that can promote the growth of tumors; sulforaphane, which stimulates cells to produce cancer-fighting enzymes; and beta-carotene, another cancer fighter.
Broccoli contains some 3% of protein and is one of the richest vegetable sources of calcium, iron and magnesium. Moreover, broccoli is very rich in vitamins A and C, exceeding even oranges in the concentration of the latter.

A case control study published in the journal Cancer Research confirmed that women who eat more Brassica family vegetables have a much lower risk of breast cancer. In this study of over 300 women in Shanghai, China (where Brassica vegetables such as Chinese cabbage are frequently consumed), the women's urinary levels of isothiocyanates (a type of beneficial compound found in Brassica vegetables) directly correlated with their breast cancer risk. Those women with the highest isothicyanate levels (i.e., those women consuming the most Brassica vegetables) had a 45% lower risk for breast cancer compared to those with the lowest levels of isothiocyanate.

Carrot is one of my favorite juice ingredients. It not only tastes good, it has so many health benefits and is highly cleansing.

The famous ingredient in carrots, carotenes, is an anti-oxidant that has powerful healing virtues for many diseases.

Kale

Kale is loaded with substances that can help protect one from cancer, cataracts, emphysema, and rheumatoid arthritis.
